Who We Are & What We Do

Motive Energy was founded in 1982 driven by the desire to deliver the very best products at competitive prices.  By 1992 Motive Energy's success left them as the only Independent battery company left in the Los Angeles area.  Being an independent Motive Energy has the opportunity to align themselves with some of the industry's best vendors like DEKA batteries.

 

In an effort to continue the company's success, the current management set out to provide a level of service which is second to none.  Since that time Motive Energy has hired the best talent available in the industry.  It has grown from a company of 10 employees to over 120 (which 50 of those in the service department).  Currently their are 14 field service trucks and 4 delivery trucks on the road.  Internally the service shop is second to none.  For those after hour problems Motive Energy offers 24-hour emergency service.

 

Motive Energy has over 40,000 square feet of Distribution/Service centers in Anaheim and Escondido.  Our service area extends from Bakersfield to the Mexican border.  We also service Las Vegas.

By listening to our customers, Motive Energy has capitalized on opportunities to fill the needs of the industry as they arise.  Whether its being one of the industry leaders in reconditioned batteries, chargers, or handling equipment market or providing turn key installations for your battery room.

We are continually motivated to better service our customers.  Motive Energy has several key alliances such as Performance Plus Batteries (automotive and deep cycle batteries), Performance Installations (providing mechanical installation for material handling and storage equipment), and Motive Energy Telecom, serving the stand-by power market.
